This game was for my first game jam and my first actual game. Me and my girlfriend both Computer Science majors in college decided it would be pretty fun to make something and take part in a game jam.

And thus you have CrystalCavern, a rouguelike, top-down shooter. It features a procedurally generated map, and randomly spawning enemies to add a bit of spice. This was also my first time making any kind of music, so that was fun too. Hope you like the game. :)

I think it's a fun idea and a good first try! 1 thing that can make it play a bit better that'd be easy to implement if you try this sorta game again; Instead of setting the camera to follow the player, either try setting it to follow an object that you get to stay in front of the player, or make the lerping tighter, 'cause there were times where I was almost off of the screen in the direction I was walking.


Also, the music is goofy fun <3
